Hospital discharges and average length of stay

چکیده

Hospital discharge rates measure the number of patients who leave a hospital after staying at least one night. Improving timely can help flow through hospital, freeing up beds and health worker time. Both premature delayed discharges not only worsen outcomes but also increase costs: lead to costly readmissions; use limited resources.
